Background
From Passion to Profession
With 2 years of experience in the tech industry and 4 years as a multidisciplinary designer, my journey in design began with a simple yet impactful start—creating social media graphics for a local hair salon during high school. This sparked a passion that only grew stronger over time. During my university years, I discovered digital design and have been deeply immersed in it ever since.
Design for me is the perfect fusion of technology, analytical thinking, creative expression, and the opportunity to connect with people through problem-solving. Over the years, I've partnered with cross-functional product and tech leaders from discovery to launch, designing for enterprise SaaS, B2B, and D2C products across various industries including Telecommunications, Health & Wellness, and Education.
Currently, I am an Associate Product Designer at BetterHelp, specializing in therapist acquisition and retention. My role involves creating seamless experiences for therapists, from onboarding to growing their caseloads and expanding their therapy delivery methods. I also mentor junior designers on topics like resume and portfolio reviews, getting the most out of internships, and improving design skills.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara, earned in 2023. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the internet, playing video games, and traveling. These activities not only relax me but also inspire my creative process and keep me connected to a diverse range of experiences and cultures.
